Terra Nova Trusses is a certified user of the In-Plant AWTFA QC program, developed by the Atlantic Structural Wood Association (AWTFA) to help truss manufacturers uphold exceptional quality standards.

This voluntary program implements internal quality control measures across truss manufacturing plants in Atlantic Canada, ensuring precision in:

  • Assembly integrity
  • Plate placement
  • Wood quality for final product fabrication

AWTFA regularly monitors data from certified companies, verifying compliance with industry-leading standards. Currently, Terra Nova Trusses is proud to be one of only 20 certified plants in Atlantic Canada to achieve this prestigious recognition.

To assist contractors with precise truss placement, Terra Nova Trusses enhances efficiency by labeling each truss with a waterproof identification tag, ensuring an easy match to the truss plan during installation.
