LP I-Joists start straight and stay straight. They’re more uniform in strength, stiffness and size than solid sawn lumber, and are less likely to warp, shrink, twist, split, or crown. They’re light in weight and come in longer lengths and deeper depths so floors can be designed with fewer pieces, saving installation and material costs.
